Toronto to Tokyo or Osaka / Kyoto, Japan - $572 to $682 CAD roundtrip including taxes

Japan Airlines and American Airlines have dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan down to between $666 and $682 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
Note that Tokyo and Osaka each have 2 airports.
In Tokyo, HND (Haneda) is the airport that's close to downtown. NRT is a train ride away.
From Osaka, it's a 26 minute train ride ($17) to the beautiful city of Kyoto if you use the special rapid trains on the JR Kyoto Line.
Japan Airlines is a very good airline (5 star rating with Skytrax).
Most dates are in the mid-$600s roundtrip, but I have seen a few dates to Tokyo for as low as $572 CAD roundtrip, particularly on Kayak and Flighthub. I'll list those dates below as I find them.
There are also a few dates from Toronto to Osaka for $590 CAD roundtrip. I'll list those dates below as I find them.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with a Google Flights search like this one:
Google Flights: Toronto to Tokyo, Japan
Google Flights: Toronto to Osaka, Japan
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
- Look for the dates that are between $679 and $696 roundtrip.
2. Go to Flighthub or Skyscanner or Kayak
Note: A lot of these are not bookable through the American Airlines website (when coming from Google Flights). You'll get a message about 'choosing a different flight or fare'.
I've found that Flighthub has been the best for being able to verify these prices. Just use the same dates you found on Google Flights.
From Skyscanner or Kayak, focus on the results that send you to Flighthub. The results attempting to send you to the American Airlines website may not work.
3. Search for a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to...
Tokyo, Japan (TYO)
or
Osaka, Japan (OSA)
- use the same dates you found on Google Flights.
