2. Go to Kayak 3. Search for a flight from Toronto (YTZ) to Dublin, Ireland (DUB) - Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.

4. From the Kayak search results, click through to FlightHub. Avoid the results with airport changes. NOTE: Even though the Google Flights search is from Pearson YYZ, I've had better luck finding this price by trying the same dates from Billy Bishop YTZ on Kayak.

Toronto to Buenos Aires, Argentina - $687 to $725 CAD roundtrip including taxes

American Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Buenos Aires, Argentina down to $725 CAD roundtrip including taxes. This is around 35% cheaper than the typical best prices on this route. Many of the legs have 2 stops although they're still pretty fast flights (under 16 hours total) with ideal layover times (1.5 hours). There are some options with just 1 stop, usually on the way home, but be aware they have an airport transfer in New York (JFK to LaGuardia). The layover is long enough that the airport transfer shouldn't be a problem.

I've been fortunate enough to visit a fair number of countries. Occasionally people ask me which country has been my favorite. That's a tough question, but I often say it might be Argentina. Enough so that I've visited a few times, despite how far away it is, and still feel like I could visit it again (it is a large country with a *lot* to see). The food, the wine, the amazing natural sights and animals, the interesting history and architecture, it has everything.

UPDATE: COPA has responded with a few price drops from Toronto to Buenos Aires for $687 CAD roundtrip including taxes (See dates below). The dates are all in June and have 1 stop each way in Panama. American Airlines no longer has any cheap ones.

Air Canada has dropped the price of a few April flights from Toronto to Athens, Greece down to $672 CAD roundtrip including taxes. The flights are nonstop both ways. KLM also has a few flights from Toronto to Heraklion (Crete) or Thessaloniki, Greece for $701 to $772 roundtrip. These flights have 1-2 stops each way.

Update: There are not currently any dates in the $600s, but late May and June dates are available for $701 to $756 roundtrip. Air Transat also has nonstop flights to Athens for $747 roundtrip.

Porter Airlines has dropped the price of a few flights from Toronto to Liberia, Costa Rica down to between $319 and $451 CAD roundtrip including taxes. The flights are nonstop both ways. The base fare is $319 to $391 roundtrip and includes only a personal item. Add $60 roundtrip for a checked bag.

UPDATE: Porter has base fares of $323 roundtrip in June. The realistic price is $383 roundtrip. San Jose is no longer cheap.
