For those that are comfortable rolling the dice, Flair Air is showing nonstop flights in winter 2023 from Toronto to Palm Springs or Cancun for $196 to $296 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The base fare without luggage (personal item only) is $196 CAD roundtrip.
The more realistic price is $296 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on luggage.
For comparison, the next cheapest nonstop flights from Toronto to Palm Springs in the winter months are currently Air Canada's flights for $835-$975 CAD roundtrip (including a piece of carry-on). Yikes.
The next cheapest nonstop flights from Toronto to Cancun are Swoop's flights, which are priced about $120 higher than Flair's.
Booking with Flair comes with risk. They've been known to drop routes without warning. If a flight is cancelled or delayed they usually don't have an alternative way of getting you to your destination (many routes only have flights 2-3 times a week). This tends to become a larger risk during winter when weather can affect the operations of all airlines.
