TAP Portugal has dropped the price of their October 2023 flights from Toronto to Lisbon, Portugal down to $394 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can also find 1-stop flights from Toronto to various other places in Europe for between $383 and $482 roundtrip, including...
Dublin, Ireland (update: not bookable)
Faro, Portugal
Funchal, Madeira
Porto, Portugal
You can also find Business Class flights in the $1600s roundtrip to the same destinations (except Dublin).
Multi-City flights also work. For example: Toronto to Lisbon, and then Lisbon to Porto, and then Porto to Toronto - is still in the $1600s for Business Class.
Update: Many of the Economy class dates in the $400s have sold out (dates in the second half of October still available), but Business Class is still available in the $1600s roundtrip in the months of Jan, Feb, Mar, Jun, Sep, and Oct 2023.

Google Flights is showing that the price has changed back to around ~$800 a person once you go to the confirmation screen for dublin.

I just came back from Europe and flew Toronto Lisbon and Lisbon to London return.
Not at all impressed with the business class product but especially the service. Twice on flights never had a single member of the crew speak to me until a full hour into the flight.
Maybe all business class service has degraded because I can't remember having that kind of experience. I'm used to them introducing themselves and offering me a drink before take off.
It appears to me that airlines have been turned upside down pre and post covid. Check out the airline ratings on Skytrax to see 2019 vs ratings now. Some airlines that were consistently in the top 10 have move elsewhere on the list. Case in point EVA and Cathy Pacific.
Oct 17 -27 DUB is available at $333 on Flight Network
Just booked YYZ to LGW for $468 tax in Oct 16 to 28 without any need to stay overnight in LIS
Had to toggle between Skyscanner and Kayak to get lower prices as Google Flights were a lot higher
Thanks Chris! Just booked a flight to Lisbon in July. You can also add a multi city within Portugal and the price stays the same. Their customer service is terrible but you can't beat the pricing for business class! The website kept crashing so I had to try many times to get the deal. Their 1-800 number is no help. They hung up on me several times after waiting for over 30 min.
