Philippine Airlines has dropped the price of a few of their April *2024* flights (as in, a year from now) from Toronto to Bangkok, Thailand down to $970 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way in Manila, Philippines and include 2 checked bags.
It's certainly better than the typical $1600-$2000 roundtrip bottom price that flights to Thailand have been stuck at for a very long time.
However, the flight on the way home has a long layover in Manila, Philippines for between 11 and 14 hours.
You can also turn these into a 2-in-1 trip and spend time in both Thailand and the Philippines for $1144 to $1269 roundtrip (which also gets rid of the long layover).
