Toronto to Portugal or Ireland in the $300s roundtrip, but mainly poor flights

United Airlines and Aer Lingus are showing flights from Toronto to Portugal and Ireland in the $300s roundtrip including taxes.
However, most of the flights are of pretty poor quality (2 stops each way, long layovers).
The price is low enough that these might be a mistake, although I have seen the prices verify on a variety of booking sites, including CheapOAir.ca, GoToGate, ITravel2000, and Flight Network.
But in case they turn out to be a mistake, do not book anything non-refundable for at least 24-48 hours.

How to find and book these flights
1. Go to Momondo or CheapOAir.ca ($CAD) or CheapOAir.com ($USD)
IMPORTANT: CheapOAir.com is always in $USD, so multiply any prices that you see by 1.28. This will give you the price in $CAD.
2. Search for a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to...
Lisbon, Portugal (LIS) -- $318 CAD roundtrip
Dublin, Ireland (DUB) -- $341 CAD roundtrip
Shannon, Ireland (SNN) -- $395 to $410 CAD roundtrip
Some other destinations that I've seen for significantly less than usual...
Porto, Portugal (OPO) -- $480 CAD roundtrip, 2 stops each way
Athens, Greece (ATH) -- $519 CAD roundtrip, 2 stops each way
Zagreb, Croatia (ZAG) -- $552 CAD roundtrip, 2 stops each way
Split, Croatia (SPU) -- $582 CAD roundtrip, 2 stops each way
3. Try using Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday dates in the following months:
January, February, March, April, May, June, October, November 2018
You may want to start with trying Tuesday and Wednesday dates.
