August is actually one of the best months of the year to visit Fiji, which is in the South Pacific. It typically has clear sunny days and little to no rain.
Fiji is open to vaccinated travellers from anywhere. (Proof of full vaccination for all travellers aged 16 years and older). They dropped quarantine requirements back in February, and dropped entry testing requirements for the vaccinated on May 1.
