Philippine Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Vancouver to Thailand, Indonesia (Bali), Malaysia, and Vietnam down to between $845 and $871 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop in Manila, Philippines each way.
Many of the layovers are really long (12+ hours) in at least one direction.
Malaysia and Vietnam have some decent layovers in both directions.

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with one of the following Google Flights searches:
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
- Explore for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
- In Google Flights, look for the cheapest dates, which may be around $1260 CAD roundtrip. But you'll notice the price drops into the $800s on most dates in September and October.
- I've listed the layover times beside the price, as most of these flights have a very long layover in at least one direction.
