Buffalo to Dubai to Toronto - $660 roundtrip after taxes

Right now KLM has some of those strange fares in their system, where it's really cheap to fly out of a U.S. city and back into a Canadian one, for far cheaper than a roundtrip out of either country.
For example, try a multi-city search from Buffalo (BUF) to Dubai (DXB) to Toronto (YYZ). They're coming up as $660 roundtrip after taxes at the moment.
Here's an example search in late November / early December...

That's about 40% cheaper than the cheapest roundtrip flights to Dubai from either Buffalo or Toronto.
There's also an interesting one to Tel Aviv, Israel...
