"I'm a travel junkie who's hooked on deals from YYZ." - Chris Myden

London, Ontario to Paris, France and other cities in Europe - from $301 CAD roundtrip including taxes (you can also potentially fly from Toronto-YYZ instead of London)

Paris, France

British Airways has dropped the price of their flights from London, Ontario to Paris, France down to $314 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

There's been some incredibly low prices from various cities across Canada to Europe on British Airways throughout the day.

They disappeared for a while, but they have returned, and there are some available from London, Ontario (YXU).

So far, I've received quite a few reports from people that they have been able to view their booking on the British Airways website.

Availability for travel

October 2017 (multi-city flight options only)

November, first half of December 2017

January, February, March, April

How to find and book this deal

1. Go to the CheapOAir website

IMPORTANT: This is the CheapOAir.com website, which is in $USD. The $CAD version of the CheapOAir website (.ca) is not showing these.

2. Search for a flight from London, Ontario (YXU) to Paris, France (CDG)

Try Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu dates in the months listed above.

[2017]

Nov 2 to Nov 13 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD
Nov 9 to Nov 20 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD
Nov 16 to Nov 27 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD
Nov 23 to Dec 4 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD
Nov 23 to Dec 4 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD
Nov 30 to Dec 11 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD

Dec 7 to Dec 18 -- $306 USD / $394 CAD

[2018]

Feb 08 to Feb 12, 18 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD
Feb 13 to Feb 18 -- $244 USD / $319 CAD (Valentine's weekend in Paris?)
Feb 13 to Feb 27 -- $244 USD / $319 CAD
Feb 22 to Mar 5 -- $234 USD / $301 CAD

Mar 1 to Mar 10 -- $279 USD / $359 CAD
Mar 15 to Mar 26 -- $326 USD / $420 CAD
Mar 20 to Mar 29 -- $326 USD / $420 CAD

Mar 29 to Apr 9 -- $326 USD / $420 CAD (over Easter)

Apr 5 to Apr 16 -- $366 USD / $472 CAD
Apr 12 to Apr 23 -- $338 USD / $432 CAD
Apr 19 to Apr 30 -- $338 USD / $432 CAD

The price will be in $USD, so you need to multiply by 1.29 to know what your credit card will be charged in $CAD.

In the example screenshot below, the price was $244 USD roundtrip, which works out to $314 CAD roundtrip.

In the example screenshot, the dates are November 30 to December 11 (Thursday to Monday).

Try different dates in the months listed above.

From across Canada today, there's been some unusually low prices to...

Paris, France (CDG) -- have seen from YXU for $244 USD / $314 CAD

Dublin, Ireland (DUB) -- have seen from YXU for $257 USD / $331 CAD

London, UK (LHR) -- have seen from YXU for $293 USD / $377 CAD

Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS) -- have seen from YXU for $321 USD / $419 CAD

Rome, Italy (FCO) -- have seen from YXU for $401 USD / $519 CAD

Bucharest, Romania (OTP) -- have seen from YXU for $388 USD / $500 CAD

Zagreb, Croatia (ZAG) -- have seen from YXU for $427 USD / $550 CAD

Budapest, Hungary (BUD) -- have seen from YXU for $443 USD / $558 CAD

Sofia, Bulgaria (SOF) -- have seen from YXU for $464 USD / $599 CAD

Prague, Czech Republic (PRG) -- have seen from YXU for $484 USD / $599 CAD

Vienna, Austria (VIE) -- have seen from YXU for $488 USD / $629 CAD

There may be some of these that are also available from London (YXU). It's worth trying.

On CheapoAir.com (the $USD site) - you can also try using promo code AIR50 to bring down the price a little more

It's a little hard to find the spot where you enter the promo code.

It's on the payment page, under 'Price Details' (USD).

Click on 'Promo Code'

Enter: AIR50

You can also fly back to Toronto instead of London, and keep the price the same

For example...

London, Ontario (YXU) to Paris, France (CDG)
Paris, France (CDG) to Toronto (YYZ).

1. Go to the CheapOAir website

NOTE: It must be the .com website, which is in $USD.

2. Change it from Round Trip to 'Multiple Cities'

3. Search for a flight like this one:

London, Ontario (YXU) to Paris, France (CDG)
Paris, France (CDG) to Toronto (YYZ).

You may find it easier to search for a regular Roundtrip flight from YXU first.

Once you've found a cheap date combination, try a Multiple Cities search like the one above.

The screenshot below is Nov 30 to Dec 11.

You can also try a Multi-City search like this one, which allows you to depart from YYZ, and fly home to YYZ, but with a warning...

Toronto (YYZ) to Paris, France (CDG)
Paris, France (CDG) to London, Ontario (YXU)

You'll notice on the way home from Paris to London, Ontario that the flight stops at YYZ on it's way to YXU.

There's nothing preventing you from leaving the airport at YYZ.

Normally, there would be the danger of your bags automatically continuing on without you to the final destination on your ticket (YXU in this case).

But, at YYZ, on the way home, since you are transferring from an international flight to a domestic flight, you are required to go through the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at YYZ. This means you are supposed to pick up your bags, and drop them off at the connecting baggage belt.

You could also just pick up your bags, go through customs, and then leave YYZ airport.

So in theory, you could actually fly from YYZ with checked bags using the above multi-city method, and re-claim your bags at YYZ on the way home, without having them continue on to YXU.

I'm pretty sure this is how it still works at YYZ, you can find more info on this at https://www.torontopearson.com/PearsonContent.aspx?id=1201##

Update: There are some cheap October dates available, but cheap October dates only seem to be available with the Multi-City flights

For example:

Toronto (YYZ) to Paris, France (PAR)
Paris, France (PAR) to London, Ontario (YXU)

Sep 26 to Oct 3 - $301 USD / $388 CAD
Oct 17 to Oct 24 - $278 USD / $358 CAD

As a regular roundtrip flight search, these dates aren't cheap.

It would be worth trying other dates in October.
