American Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to San Francisco, San Diego, and Seattle down to $236 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, usually in Chicago or Dallas.
Toronto does have non-stop flights to San Francisco and Seattle (with Air Canada), but the cheapest prices are generally around $550 to $700 roundtrip.
You can also find vice-versa flights (San Francisco to Toronto) for a similar roundtrip price.

March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December 2020
and January 2021

Update 3/5: There's now wide availability throughout 2020 for San Francisco & San Diego, including July & August dates. There's also fairly wide availability to Seattle, but not in July & August
