COPA is showing flights from Toronto to Chiclayo, Peru for $256 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Panama City, Panama.
The layover on the way there is nearly a full day (21 hours).
Chiclayo is a popular Peruvian vacation spot. Chiclayo and the surrounding area contains a combination of beaches, adobe pyramids, the gilded Municipal Palace, cathedrals, and the tomb of the Lord of Sipan,
Canadians travelling to Peru are currently required to show a negative PCR test result that is less than 72 hours old.
Canadians also currently require a PCR, NAAT, or LAMP test result before boarding their flight back to Canada. It is not known when Canada will drop this requirement.
There appears to be a lab in Chiclayo that offers PCR testing: Unilab - although that's the only option I could see (thanks to Alex in the comments). There could be other options, but if there are, they're not easy to track down.
