Swoop has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Cancun, Mexico down to between $273 and $373 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are non-stop both ways.
$273 roundtrip is the base price, and includes *only* a personal item. Low cost carriers charge extra for *everything*.
$373 roundtrip is the price with a carry-on or checked bag included, for a more fair comparison against other airlines.
Mexico is one of 73 countries that have re-opened for Canadian tourists. Mexico is one of the only countries that has never closed it's borders to Canadians during the pandemic. Mexico is about the only country down south that does not require a quarantine or negative covid test result for entry. (There is currently a 14 day self isolation period when returning to Canada, from anywhere).
